it started out innocent enough.

"mom, what are you doing?" he waddles out from his bedroom to me- bleary eyed at the computer at 1:00 am.

"hey bud, what's going on sweetie?"

he snuggles into my shoulder, his cheeks flushed with sleep.

"i think i need to go to the bathroom."

1, missisippi, 2 missisippi.

explosion.

yeah, his assumption was accurate. two more times and his dinner is EVERYWHERE.

we run.

"nate" I call from the bathroom, "we need you."

he came, we cleaned, miles lay down on the floor. it was 3:30 before i lay down next to him.

every 45 minutes, we start again.

he's on the couch, i lay on the ottoman next to him, my calves hanging off the end, my hand on his back. with every twitch, i lunge for the bowl. three times, he doesn't make it, and i'm covered in mommy-responsibility.

at 6:10 am, he grabbs the bowl, i hand him a sip of water, he collapses backwards onto the floor. i tuck a blanket around his face.

"sank you mamma."

i smile.

These are two (and now three!) of my favorite people. Whenever I see them, no matter how long it's been, or how uncool I've become, I still always feel that, for whatever reason, they still love me. They just exude happiness. They laugh easily and love each other completely. It is a JOY to be around.

Kim and Lebeau, thanks for always being so kind and accepting of me and so completely selfless and giving. I love you guys oodles.

here's what my little gentleman did for me this year.....

they surprised me by decorating our sweet ride with all sorts of party decor. so cute. they also got me some self-help books (what are you suggesting sweets?) and Miles took a much needed picture of my Schmoopy and me. i'm super impressed! and now i'm looking over my shoulder cause i'm not quite ready to pass the family business on just yet! i do have some critique however. maybe next time let's not shoot from the double-chin angle, and let your poor mother change out of her jammies and put her makeup on. we don't need any more documenting of my sleep face. oh well, what can you expect from a 4 year old?

The Lakes have been intertwined with my life for as long as I can remember. Jessica was my babysitter and would make up dances to Cyndi Lauper songs in our living room. She also comforted me as I lay in her lap as a 5th grader crying because I was sure no one liked me. Margaret took me to an Ani Difranco concert when I was 12 with her much older friends and thought it was awesome that I wore tights covered in fruit. John built an ice rink in their back yard and loved to fart on me while I slept. But to his credit, he also hugged me in the halls of East High as a Freshman when he was the much cooler Senior. Meredith and I bonded in the "No-Boyfriend Club" and ooogled over the very delicious Polys at school like Jason Kafusi (secret's out, sorry). She giggled infectiously and loved to call me Kops. Stuart and I were the closest of little buddies until boys got cooties and girls got crazy. We bought matching Airwalks and spent a summer sitting in trees singing Eternal Flame by the Bangles. And another summer amazed that we barely escaped our attic clubhouse before the crazy neighbor set it on fire.

With the Lakes I attended my first Guinea Pig wedding, complete with real wedding invitations and formal attire. Susan's perfect pink frosted cookies and fragile little hors d'oeuvres were served on silver platters. Their dad Randall taught me about the beauty of art and acceptance. I spent time outside of his studio examining Stauzie (sp?) the dogs' teeth and fighting hard against the urge to eat the sugar cubes from his still life set up.

Their mom Susan introduced me to German pancakes and wheat toast with tomatoes and minced onion. She was my beloved English teacher in High School and allowed our class to have a treat bucket my senior year, and we dined on things like pizza and candy necklaces every Friday.

Now, we are all grown. Some of us with kids of our own. Some of us still in Utah, some in Chicago, some in the Lake's second home of Balboa. But one thing stays the same. No matter how far we go, or how much time passes, with the Lakes I always feel at home. I always feel 100% loved and I always feel way cooler than I really am. Because the Lakes are the kind of people you want to be around. They are beautiful and natural and hilarious and eternally young. Like the cool group you wish you could hate but secretly kill to be a part of. And through all the ups and downs that life has thrown at them they still love (and fight :) and laugh fiercely and you get the sense that there's no one they would rather be with than each other. It's inspiring.

I am one lucky girl to know them.

I wanted to include some pictures of Randall's studio where we did the session. The entire place is like a piece of art. It really shows what an amazing artist he is.

I could stay there all day.

This beautiful couple was referred to me my mom's hair dresser Lisa who apparently knows more about me than I do. (on a side note: anyone else agree that hairdressers really should be paid more seeing as how they do the same work as Psychiatrists, they just do it in heels with a blowdryer). The bride's mom Rochelle goes to Lisa also and she mentioned that her daughter was looking for a photographer. Lisa so kindly gave them my name (thank you thank you Lisa!) and they looked me up.

I was beyond thrilled.

After talking to the two of them on the phone, I knew right away that I wanted them to be on my Christmas card list. They were charming and sweet and totally giddy about their upcoming wedding. Miriam was a professional ballerina, which blows my mind because the closest I got to a tu-tu was Mrs. Stott's school of dance which mostly consisted of doing somesaults over a stick and doing kick-ball-change to the “Big Ship Lollipop” for candy. Let's just say these stocky legs of mine resembled Miriam's in NO way. She currently works for Amazon in the book team where I am sure they love her because to meet Miriam is to love her. She has such a magnetic personality and is so full of joie de vivre (yes I did have to look that up and yes, i'm still not sure if it is spelled right.) I was immediately in love with her and knew that we were a perfect match. Ok maybe Daniel takes that title, but I call for number 2 :). They really are a perfect match.

Daniel is a Radiologic Oncologist and let's just say that the closest I came to being a radiologist was participating in my chest x-ray last year. I held very still. Basically the same thing right? Anyone? Now, I have however, worked for a fair share of doctors in my time. Many amazing ones (CCP love ya-Dodds what up?), and some, maybe not quite as amazing. So, I'm embarassed to say that I may have had some preconceived ideas of what his personality might be like. I am pleased to report, however that I was totally wrong and I am tucking my tail between my legs (when you “assume.....etc.”). He was adorable. He was relaxed and calm and genuinely friendly to me and my crew. He was patient and sweet and smiled so effortlessly.

Especially if Miriam was anywhere near.

I absolutely loved being near them. Their love is infectious and made for an utterly amazing day.

Now, living in Utah, let's just say that Jewish weddings are not the norm for me, so when they explained that they were coming here to Utah because Miriam's dad Rabbi Frederick Wenger, who retired from the Congregation Kol Ami, was going to perfom the marriage cermony for his daugher in his synagouge, I was ecstatic to experience something a little different. It was so fun for me to learn about their traditions and beliefs (Thanks Daniel for teaching me about the menorah :). I felt loved and accepted from the second I opened the door and Miriam's mother and father greeted me with such kind hugs. I felt their genuineness and it immediately put me at ease.

I feel so lucky that I have a job that allows me to be surrounded by so much happiness and love. It really is such a blessing to be able to a part of it all.

So, to Daniel and Miriam thank you for allowing me to be there and for trusing me. I am moved by the two of you and I know that life holds only but the best for you.

The ceremony and reception were all coordinated by Kim Albers at Every Last Detail. I was blown away at what she was able to do. Absolutely beautiful.

I also need to say a HUGE thank you for the unbelievable kindness of my two helpers. Kristen for being a totally unflappable assistant. She was running everywhere and never batted an eye at any of my crazy requests. You kept us level headed and grounded. I love you oodles.

And also to Morgan my second photographer. I absolutely adore her style and her eye. When my original second shooter fell through, she graciously agreed to fill in. And oh, how glad I am that she said yes! I will forever adore her for being willing to take a chance on me, and the fact that she is TOTALLY groovy was a wicked awesome bonus. Thank you thank you Morgan. I NEVER could have done it without you. (plus I'm so happy to have a new sister-in-arms :)

Chicago here I come!

My beautiful sister Brittany just had a gorgeous baby girl!!!

And poor little me has to take a vacation all the way to Chicago, snuggle a fresh little baby, and take fabulous pictures of a squishy little one and her sister. What a hard life I have. Haha!!

So, obvioulsy I will be out of the office, but if anyone needs anything, my fantastic Shoot Coordinator Kate is on the ball and can answer any question you may have. She's fab to say the least. And if any of you want me to get a message to Oprah while I'm there, let me know and I'll pass it along. We tight. ;)

So it's official. We conquered the mystical creature I call the Bridal Show. And by conquered, I mean we prepped and planned, drilled and glued and didn't have an aneurysm. I consider this conquering. I consider this a success. All the hours of stress and meetings collided into one beautifully designed booth,

and one KILLER wall.

A wall unlike any other. A wall heavier than any other. A wall that would soon end one poor little creature's life.

The day started like any other really. Alarm going off, hair being done, peacocks frolicking in the garden. You know, typical. But what seems to start well, does not always, you know, end well.

Let me back track. When we came up with our ingenious plan for our booth, we didn't account for two very important things. 1) This show was going to be at La Caille, and 2) we are not engineers. When we pictured Bridal Show, we thought of florescent lighting and little curtain rooms. The kind of little rooms that would have some type of bar high off the floor enclosing our little slice of wedding marketing bliss. Lovely polyester, billowing in the breeze. What we sooo did not expect was a beautiful little patio with only a 2 foot tall barrier to protect us. Where, we panicked, is our lovey poly-blend covered bar on which to lean our newly constructed wall? The clock was ticking, bunnies were bouncing and we had to find a way to make do. So, we took a chance, because what else did we have. We leaned our 8'x8' wall tenderly against the glorified cement step, shoved our two lovely antique dressers against the wall in desperate hope that our little sandwich would hold our pictures through the day.

To our delight, it seemed to be working.

For about an hour.

Suddenly, in the middle of our 90 degree, Utah, July day, came some sort of freakish hurricane strength gust of wind.

Our beautiful wall lurched and screeched. Every bride nearby gasped in horror. I could feel it coming and there was nothing we could do. Nevertheless, I lunged forward over our little dresser clawing at the wall in a vain attempt to stop the inevitable destruction.

I failed.

The wall shot down the hill. Our beautiful fish bowl shattered with a sonic boom, the dresser was launched into my leg and our poor little goldfish rocketed across the sky.

We all stood in silence. Frozen in our places. Our faces plastered with "no-way-that-just-happened" looks.

All our hard work. All of our beautiful pictures. Our fish?! Un-be-liev-able.

It was totally crazy. Totally devastating. And totally a miracle.

In my attempt to rescue the wall before it's demise, my leg was attacked by the dresser and my finger was sliced (ironically my middle finger),

but we feel so blessed that no one was seriously hurt, which was a real possibility. That is, no one besides the goldfish whom we have not heard from since.

The other blessing was that the other dresser, which had Cali's beautiful Mac desktop on it didn't even budge. Which made no sense. But nonetheless, it was completely unharmed. Crazy.

The great staff at La Caille, our AWESOME booth neighbors (the coolest family behind Diva Bling Jewelry), and total strangers came to our rescue including one passerby who donated a small first aid kit to me. People are awesome. I'm a big fan.

In the end, there was nothing to be done, but carry on. Although most of the pictures were destroyed, we were able to salvage some of them and still show off some work with the slideshow on the Mac.

All in all it turned out to be a very successful day, and I don't think our booth was empty for longer than about 5 minutes the whole day.

Most of that was thanks to Cali(of Beautiful You)'s sister Heidi who was a-MA-zing!

She walked around the show with our cards in bags full of candy talking us up like crazy, and ambushing people for free makeovers done by the uber talented Cali and Catherine.

when i first met jon, he was small. he was maybe 9? years old and as small as a june bug. i remember him with braces and glasses though he may have been older than that when those occurred. either way, in my mind's eye i still picture him that way. not like the strapping young man you see before you. suddenly he is taller than me, more handsome than me and can text my fingers into oblivion.

how did this happen? i don't remember getting older, when did they? (enter fiddler on the roof serenade). plus his sunglasses are way cooler than mine. basically, he has me beat on all fronts. fetch.

jon is lynnie's son and if you know lynnie, you have somewhere along the lines had your ear talked off and played several games. you have probably also told her your life story, been severely entertained and walked away with a great friend. she's a riot. she's the life of the party and is not afraid to speak her mind. so when she emailed me and asked if she should come to the photo shoot with her little boy, i politely told her that maybe she should send one of his friends:). i can say this to her because she's lynnie and she's my husband's aunt, and she's hilarious and she knows that she would go through his bag before he left and try to chose his clothes and tell him to fix his hair the whole shoot. she knows this. which is one of the things i love about her.

what she didn't know however, was how much she would love the pictures (her words not mine). how much she would love the clothes he chose. the style, the feel, the sunglasses. and that by allowing him to decide without her, she would always be able to look back and see jonny how he really was.

before he fully became a man.

so to lynnie. thank you for letting jon come without you-though i know you were dying to be there. thank you for raising such a nice young gentleman.

nate the great. today is his birthday. while I love to tease him mercilessly that he is old as dirt, the fact that i'm only 3 years younger than him may mean that I am as old as dirt too. this week was also our 8 year anniversary. Cra-zy! this is a good year.

i consider myself to be one of the lucky ones. to have a husband that is fiercely loyal, who loves me unflinchingly, who cleans and cooks and loves to be with our son. he is kind and patient with me. he is honest and intelligent (though his spelling has room for improvment-who leaves out the letter "e" in "the" so consistently? :) and he absolutely, whole heartedly, believes in me. So to Nate, my best friend, my business coach, my nightly 10:15pm pep-talker, my photography test subject (you love me right?) my solid ground, and my luvvvv. I am forever, and ever yours. my heart is and will always be entirely in your hands.

it really is annoying that my Shoot Coordinator (and very best friend since 3rd grade-holla!) looks like this. i mean really. how can I compare to this when half way through a shoot I look like a messy racoon on hot asphalt. get serious. the only thing that eases my pain is the box full of unsightly and incriminating photos of her i have gathered over the last two decades (hello, youth conference!). this, however, is not one of those. this one is KILLER.

can I just say, I have the best job. check these little dudes out. i am so far behind on blogging, but these caught my eye as i was passing through and i had to share. these little twinners are from this maternity shoot i did. you know I'm far behind my blogging if you are seeing these in succession. crazy. i'll be giving my reasons why next week and news about some changes. i really will. but until then, a sample of some delicious little beans and their family. they are both in the 5 pound range and that makes for some scrumptious wrinkles and snuggles. it was such a fun newborn session, sweaty photographer and all. seriously sweaty (sorry!). what can i say, it's like doing Pilate's in front of an oven. any way enough of my gross appearence.

so since I'm behind, here is one of the cutest maternity sessions ever. and in about 10 minutes from now, i'll post about their newborn session. yeah, i'm that on top of the blog. shooting and editing and mommy-ing seem to take up all my spare time.

ok, this was so much fun, and mom was so daring. she bared her stomach for all to see on a busy street corner. let's just say drivers getting on the freeway got a little bit of a shock, as did one homeless passerby. so funny. and soo cute. can you believe she was just under 4 weeks from delivering TWINS in these pictures? nuts. when i was that far along, miles was swinging between my knees and i certainly wasn't up for any deep knee bends like this gorgeous mom. i also thought it was so cool that she didn't want me to take out her stretch marks. i like that. besides i feel that stretch marks are like a badge of honor. we are lucky enough to be able to have children and we shouldn't feel ashamed that our bodies change in th process. i know that there are so many women who would give anything to have that blessing, but that is a subject for another day. for today, let's give a hip hip hooray for a mom who loves her beautiful pregnant belly.

A story of insanity.

This was the day my sister and I attempted the unthinkable.

We tried to do a photo shoot of a 6 month old, outside, without a fence, with a 3 year old, a 2 year old and no fairy godmother (aka our mom- the great Yoj).

There were pizza covered hands and fabrics exploding out of bags. There was also Miles sweetly relieving himself in the bushes behind my back and Hazel stripping down to do the same. I think the workers had quite the show.

I'm not sure if we were delusional or just gluttons for punishment. Either way, we attempted, and time-outed, wiped the sweat from our brow, and smiled because at the end of all of the insanity was this:

this wedding was an absolute blast. two beautiful people in love make for some beautiful pictures. i feel honored to have been a part of it.

i have sooo many pictures i want to post so i'm breaking it up into two parts. part one is some shots before the wedding including some "first look" shots which are some of my favorite to take.

the second part will be the reception, some details, and since they actually got married the next day, i'll post some of those too. so be sure to come on back for more.

a little reason

Recently, I've had some people ask me about editing and why I spend so much time doing it. So tonight, I thought that it might be fun to show you a little behind the scenes of my photography. Maybe this will help explain a why custom photography is an investment that is totally worth it. It should also help to explain why it takes so long to get pictures back.

And it may also explain why you can find me awake at all hours of the night bleary eyed with crumbs on my face and looking just a little bit like Gary Busey. (not my picture by the way)

Killer pictures take time to process.

Maybe if I was a genius like Annie Leibovitz or was employed by National Geographic I would be able to get pictures straight from the camera like this. But the reality is that if you are taking pictures digitally, you have to process them. They don't just pop out of the camera all bright and tasty. At least not for most photographers I know.

So the long and short of it is, that beautiful pictures take time, and lovin'. And that's what I give them. My husband will tell you that I'm a bit of a perfectionist (or masochist-tomato,tomahto) and get too obsessed with each picture. Maybe that's true. Either way, it means that every picture I take gets the love it deserves in order to make it a stunner.

And although I normally feel that showing you unretouched photos is akin to standing in front of you in my swimsuit, tonight I'm feeling brave.

This session had already been rescheduled once because of weather, so imagine my annoyance when I woke up the day of our shoot to snow. Big snow flakes all over the place. I decided that we would just go for it anyway. Snow's better than rain right? So with my ghetto ziploc bag covered camera in tow, I headed downtown in hopes that it wouldn't be a total bust. Snowing, snowing, snowing the whole way there. I parked and like the heavens parting, out came a crispy blue sky. Seriously just in time. We must have had some good mojo, cause it even stayed dry through our whole shoot. Yippee. I'm so glad cause look at these two.....

Are they ridiculously cute or what? Kelly found me by referral (Thanks Rachel!!) and it turns out that I grew up just down the street from her handsome little fiance. And although it made me feel old as the hills that he's old enough to get married, it was so fun to see him again. And we had a great time. Seriously. They wanted to do some urban photography which I LOVE! And lucky me, not only are they gorgeous with a dash or funky (she wore two different kinds of Converse "chucks"!), they also let me do whatever I wanted. Just a slice of heaven. One killer chick!

So this is the coolest chick EVER!! Her name is Kina Grannis and she is unbelieveabley talented. I stumbled onto a youTube video of hers and fell in love with her music. I pretty much have something of hers on all the time. I love how cheery, and beautiful her music is and she is so darling (and G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S!) I realize that all I've been doing on this blogs lately is very small posts. We'll this is no exception. This session was full of all things small. Small fingers, small toes, small candies as bribes. The last small item was an absolute MUST. I came fully stocked with all sorts of bribes because it was for three small brothers. A 3 year old, a 2 year old, and a 3 week old! I was fully prepared for chaos, but it was absolutely NOT the case. These kids were FANTASTIC!! I'm totally blown away. They were hilarious and sooo well behaved (well done mom and dad!) It was a sweet sweet day. Jelly Bellies included.

So here is the briefest of previews, but I hope it will bring a little smile to your face....

a new buddy for miles...

I'm a little late in announcing this, but I wanted to do a little post for my new nephew Drew! {Miles is so excited to have another little boy on my side of the family to balance out all that estrogen.}

He's ridiculously cute and I just want to *SQUEEZE* the stuffing right out of him. Thankfully, it was a very fast and smooth delivery-though I do have a bone to pick about the timing.

I told Alisa earlier in the day that whenever she decided to have the baby, she just needed to do it at a respectable hour. {Last time my mom and I spent the night on the conference room floor waiting-not very amusing, but worth it} She, however, did not listen to me. I got a call at 1:30am, just an hour and a half after my tired little head hit the pillow. Very sweet.

Needless to say, I zipped to the hospital, called my sister in Chicago and my devastated-vacationing mom in San Fran, and 3 hours later, the man of the hour arrived. Just before 5:00am.

It was such an indescribeable experience to be there to welcome a new little one into the world. Beautiful. Alisa did so well and there were no complications which was a HUGE sigh of relief. I'm so proud of my baby sis {and mother of TWO?!!-man I'm old}. She is such an amazing woman and I feel so blessed to have her in my life. So, thanks for letting me be a part of your day. I love you guys!

{on a side note, I still have her maternity pictures to post that were taken THE DAY BEFORE she went in to labor. Talk about "in the nick of time". For someone a day away from giving birth, she was annoyingly GORGEOUS. You'll know what I mean when you see them.}

p.s. I realize these photos aren't perfect technically (high ISO, no flash etc.), but I LOVE them. So be kind:)

Will wonders never cease? I'm back again! So proud of myself. {heehee}

Ok, so I knew Amy in highschool but hadn't seen her in years and was thrilled to be able to see her and meet her little family. These pictures are actually a second try to get a family picture. The first round, little Miss -I- was not amused by the thought of sitting with mom and dad. So, we tried again. She was crazy good, and cooperative. So, hopefully you like them Amy! Introducing...the l i t t l e session

Ok, so we've come up with an idea that hopefully people will like. Now, don't let this lovely little fall picture fool you, December is sneaking up on us VERY fast {is it really the middle of October already?} and we need to make time for everyone who wants family pictures. In order to get this done in time to send out those holiday cards I am offering the brand new "little session" {aren't I clever}

What is this you ask? Well darling, let me tell you...It's a little session, for a little price.

The little session will include the following:

*a 30 minute shoot for 6 people (each additional person add $5)

*25-30 pictures in fab color and black and white

*and a photo CD with copyright privileges so you can print to your hearts content

This is going to be offered on 3 days only. Here are your options:

October 29th between 4:00-6:00pm
November 1st between 3:30-5:30pm
or
November 5th between 4:00-6:00pm

I will be out of the office until Tuesday because I'm traveling back in time to 1989 to relive my childhood. By back in time I mean of course, that we are off to Chicago for a full dorky weekend of some seriously sweet music, videos and hair brush singing. All leading up to the main event-five "near" 30 year olds rocki'n out to our favorite childhood band. NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK HERE WE COME! Don't judge me-I know half of you are as excited as I am, just in denial.

If our children only knew what we were up to, they would never speak to us again.

I know there are those of you waiting so sweetly for your pictures and have no fear, the lameness in my music taste will not interfere with my artistic abilities. Unless you're dying for some crimped hair, you will not be affected. It will however mean that I won't be home for picture pick-ups until Tues. I'm so sorry for the inconvenience.

And hopefully you will all still talk to me after this scary revelation-unlike my child.

As many of you know, my FAVORITE thing is to capture candids. Which is why I offer tag-along sessions. What is a "tag-along" sessions you ask? Basically a tag-along session is when I come and play fly-on-the-wall. It's always such a blast to capture life as it's happening. I'm sure you all have been waiting on pins and needles, so hold your breath, here is the rest of her-the Lladro bride. Was I right or was I right. Check out those lines. It's like she's carved right out of stone. And I mean that in the warmest way possible :)

So now that you've seen the rest of her, let me share a little about the day.

Last Wednesday, I was lucky enought to share in Rachel and Jon's wedding. I brought along my trusty "professional poser" and best friend Kate. She is flippin' awesome, I couldn't have done it without her. So just a little love to Box-trot before we move on. Love ya lady!

First off, I'm pretty sure that Rachel was right out of America's Next Top Model. She is STUNNING and a perfect "poser". Not to mention that she was totally chill. This is a photographer's dream. Follows instructions, and lets me do whatever I want (hee hee). She was so relaxed and fun. In fact the whole crew was. One of my favorite quotes of the night was when the groom's mom said her family was "shot out of a sugar cannon". Good times...

When bride and groom where together, they were giddy, and totally goofy. They rocked the dance floor and seemed genuinely in love. And I'm totally proud of Jon for allowing us to take some dreaded "groomals". Even if half of them were faces that were reminiscinet of my husband at our wedding. (i.e. totally off his rocker :) ) It was a blast. I loved the casual elegance of the wedding and the awesome couple. They were a riot.

So thanks again guys for trusting me with your special day. Hope you enjoy what we captured....

Just wanted to let everyone know that I will be in Colorado for a wedding until Sunday and then I'm off for a little vacation with the family until next Saturday. I will be checking emails, so feel free to send them along if you have any questions. I may or may not have my phone, so email will be best.

In the meantime, start getting jazzed (anyone else think of Richard Simmons when I say that?). I have several exciting things coming up including some rockin' sessions to share with you and the release of {drum roll....} a NEW WEBSITE!!! The website is going to be ROCKIN', with some great features like email contact right from the website, private client galleries, and my calendar so you can take a look at what session times are available without even having to call me and hear my voice. {I know some of you are thrilled about that prospect-I'm sure my hubby wishes that could apply to him}

I will continue blogging {and I'll try to post more than just once in a blue moon} even after the launch, so you can still get a sense of my dashing personality {blerg} as I try to contain my wild life.

Keep checking back for updates about launch times, and the possibility of some mystery giveaways for people {chosen at random} who leave comments here on the blog. We photographers love to hear from blog stalkers {call it narcissism}, so here's your incentive.

Well, for all those who have been pounding down my door to get my blog updated, pigs have finally flown, and here I am!
